Todd Ogasawara has written an interesting article about the iPod touch's place in the category "mobile computing" devices. I think he many layers summarizes according to that which seem to have gone in the mobile market in the years on. My one comment to what has written Todd, is I think, the shifts back and forth, say view on physical keyboards on mobile devices, possibly due to improvements in the design. For example, is not that people a physical keyboard in the handheld PC days but rather don't like the idea the size of the keyboard it greater than people who wanted to for carrying around made. Apparently the thumb keyboard on the BlackBerry was good enough.
The point I think, is that the original ideas may not bad, badly implemented.Labels: 2008
