Can we see a portable Xbox 360

With the success of the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP it should come as no real surprise Microsoft wants a piece of cake.

Business week reports that Microsoft is considering entering the market, with new multimedia devices that include gaming.

Peter Moore, confirms such a project, but to say that "Microsoft will have to use any media company's most important consumer power, video games."

If Microsoft for creating such a device, it would be more like processed Xbox or more PocketPC PDA gaming functionality. Moore says not about brand Xbox, "it might just be my version of the iPod ... I think the brand is."

Party gaming, Nintend DS and Sony PSP, at the top of the market, with both offer someting.

If Microsoft go ahead with the project, they will have to decide whether or not to be part of the brand "Xbox" business week points out that "If a new device is supplied with the Xbox brand, most consumers would consider it as a game player, like the Sony PlayStation Portable can limit its appeal, since the portable gaming market is much less than for digital media."
