Electronic Readers in the Future

The power of the written word can be so strong it's hard to narrate, even with distinguished written words. Communication is the key to interacting with other people which is really are strongest drive as humans, after meeting basic needs.

We communicate many different ways from body language and facial expressions to all forms of audible communication. One of man's greatest achievements has been inventing an alphabet and the ability to read and write.

With the written word we can characterize history, change history, give detailed instructions, construct a to do list, space goals, write a admire letter, or apologize when spoken words aren't enough or are too difficult to acquire out.

Plus with written words we have knowledge. Knowledge at our fingertips. We can learn whatever we determine to leer or be transformed into another world or life, from romantic novels, to mystery adventures. Books are a fantastic gift to enrich our lives.

The 11 year stale son of one of my stop friends recently called me because he was having wretchedness installing some older software, on a newer computer. I notion it was so cute when he called, that the following weekend, I went to their house and fixed the plight.

After I fixed the jam everyone was impressed. But the truth is, even though I am an MCSE, I would have never known how to fix the plight without searching the error message and finding a solution. The reading skills I learned in the 1st and 2nd grades have served me well my entire life.

With the advent of the internet and electronic readers there seems to be a revolution in how we catch our books. Don't glean me tainted. Books are not going out of style and they will be around a long time. They are portable and inexpensive. We can have shelves of unread books, or carry around one dog eared book that gets read and reread.

That being said the current advances in electronic readers are offering convenience, run and portability, like never before. Electronic readers are not unusual and there have been versions out for many years. Sony has a nice electronic reader, and you can also download files onto your portable laptop, pocket PC, or iPhone.

But I reflect the true revolution starts with the Amazon Kindle. The beauty of this e reader is that it's designed to mimic a true book. The simplistic perform, the ergonomic feel in your hand, and the glare free dim and white electronic paper. Is meant to be as comfortable, or more comfortable, than reading a accurate book.

The concept is for readers to forget that their using an ereader and focus on the words, impartial like we do with a proper book. Plus some have said it's more comfortable than reading a loyal book because you don't have awkward page turns or awkward angles such as at the very beginning or kill of a thick book.

The advantages of having the design is that you can carry around 20 books and reference manuals to boot, in one exiguous diagram. You can also browse, preview and download, best sellers and a constantly growing number of book, magazine, blog and newspaper selections on the flit.

Imagine the college student being able to download all of their text books in one limited intention. I remember when my cousin was in law school he actually injured his attend because his benefit pack was too heavy. Not to mention those 3-4 hour college bookstore lines.

I do not reflect that valid books are going the contrivance of the dinosaur. Not even the ones about dinosaurs. But the revolution has begun and the electronic readers are starting to gain their believe. I have a feeling in the future we'll be hearing a lot more about these as they become a approved fraction of everyday life.
